Both the X-Pipe and Z-Pipe systems are engineered to fully retain factory AFM and NPP valve functionality, preserving the intelligent exhaust control GM designed for the C8 Stingray. The valves continue to operate exactly as intended across all drive modes, allowing the car to remain quiet and composed during normal driving while instantly unlocking a more aggressive character when performance modes are engaged.

There are no warning lights, no forced-open or forced-closed behavior, and no loss of factory logic. The system works seamlessly with the original valve motors and drive mode programming, maintaining OEM usability while delivering a dramatically improved sound experience. You get the best of both worlds — factory refinement when you want it, and full VANTA Edition presence when you don’t.

For C8 Stingray models without Z51 or factory exhaust valve control, an optional remote valve controller is available to enable active valve operation. This system allows drivers to manually open or close the exhaust valves at any time, providing full control over sound levels regardless of drive mode. It also serves as an upgrade option for owners who want instant, on-demand valve control beyond factory programming, all without permanent modification.
