The Yonristic Performance Downpipes for the BMW B58 platform are designed to replace the factory catalytic downpipes with a high-flow solution that maximizes exhaust gas evacuation directly at the turbo outlet.

At the core of the system is a massive 4.5-inch flow path, significantly larger than the factory design. This increased diameter reduces backpressure at the most critical point in the exhaust system, allowing exhaust gases to exit the turbocharger more efficiently. As a result, the turbo can spool faster, operate more efficiently, and deliver stronger boost response throughout the RPM range.

The improved exhaust flow not only enhances performance but also sharpens throttle response, making the engine feel more immediate and responsive under acceleration. The sound profile is also transformed, with increased turbo presence and a more aggressive exhaust note, especially under load.

To support high-performance driving conditions, the downpipes are equipped with full heat-shielded construction, helping to contain and manage exhaust heat within the system. Proper thermal management is essential for turbocharged engines, as it reduces heat soak in the engine bay, protects surrounding components, and maintains consistent performance during repeated high-load operation.

The system is available in both free-flow catless configuration for maximum performance and sound.

Each unit is constructed from aerospace-grade AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability under extreme temperature cycles. The piping is precision formed with smooth internal transitions to maintain consistent exhaust velocity, and all welds are hand-finished using TIG processes for maximum strength.

Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, the downpipes utilize factory mounting points and connections, allowing for straightforward installation with no cutting or modification required.

These downpipes are the foundation upgrade for any B58 build, whether paired with a performance exhaust system, upgraded turbo, or ECU tuning.
