Porsche Cayenne / Cayenne Coupé 3.0T Valved Performance Exhaust System

3-Inch Midpipe | Dual 2.75-Inch Y-Pipe | Remote Active Valve Control

A More Powerful Voice for Porsche’s Performance SUV

The Porsche Cayenne combines sports-car response, luxury-SUV comfort, and everyday versatility, but the factory exhaust leaves much of the turbocharged V6’s character hidden. The Yonristic Performance Valved Exhaust System is engineered to release a deeper, cleaner, and more aggressive sound while preserving the refinement expected from a modern Porsche.

Built around a high-flow 3-inch midpipe that transitions through a precision Y-pipe into dual 2.75-inch rear sections, the system provides the capacity needed under load without over-sizing the entire exhaust or sacrificing gas velocity. Remote-controlled valves give the driver complete command over the sound, while genuine quad outlets, cast connection hardware, minimal welded joints, and vehicle-specific SUV, Coupé, and E-Hybrid configurations create a premium exhaust package engineered for both appearance and performance.

Exhaust Details

The third-generation Porsche Cayenne is designed to perform far beyond the expectations of a conventional luxury SUV. Its turbocharged V6 delivers smooth torque and strong everyday response, but the factory exhaust is engineered primarily around noise control, packaging requirements, and broad-market refinement. The result is a system that keeps the vehicle comfortable but suppresses much of the engine’s natural sound and reduces the sense of connection between the throttle and the exhaust.

The Yonristic Performance Exhaust System is developed to give the Cayenne a stronger and more emotional voice without compromising its ability to function as a refined daily vehicle. Rather than simply removing mufflers or increasing tubing size everywhere, the system uses a carefully proportioned flow architecture designed around the characteristics of the turbocharged V6.

The exhaust begins with a full 3-inch front and midpipe section that connects directly at the downpipe outlet. Including this forward connection section allows the replacement system to control the flow path from the beginning of the cat-back rather than adapting only to the rear portion of the factory exhaust. Exhaust gases are carried through a smooth, unrestricted main route before entering the engineered Y-pipe transition.

At the Y-pipe, the single 3-inch path divides into two 2.75-inch rear channels. This combination provides strong total flow capacity while keeping each rear bank appropriately sized to preserve exhaust velocity and throttle-related sound response. An excessively large rear system can make a turbocharged engine sound loose or hollow at lower speeds. The 3-inch-to-dual-2.75-inch architecture avoids that compromise, supporting stronger flow under load while maintaining a controlled, substantial tone during normal driving.

The Y-pipe transition is shaped to divide the exhaust stream smoothly between both sides of the vehicle. Rather than using an abrupt fabricated junction, the geometry is designed to minimize disruption as the single stream becomes dual flow. This helps maintain consistency through the system and creates a more balanced output from the left and right outlets.

At lower RPM, the system gives the Cayenne a deeper and more confident presence without introducing an unnecessarily harsh tone. Under acceleration, the larger main pipe and dual rear sections allow the sound to open progressively, producing a stronger turbocharged character with greater clarity through the midrange. At higher engine speeds, the system sounds more urgent and performance-focused while remaining cleaner and more composed than a basic muffler-delete configuration.

Remote Active Valve Control

The exhaust is equipped with an active valve system operated through the included wireless remote controller. This allows the driver to control the exhaust independently rather than waiting for factory software to determine when the valves may open.

With the valves closed, the exhaust is routed through the sound-control section of the rear system. This reduces overall volume and helps keep the Cayenne composed during cold starts, neighborhood driving, commuting, and extended highway use. The closed-valve mode maintains a deeper character than the original exhaust while controlling the frequencies most likely to become intrusive inside the cabin.

With the valves open, the system activates its more direct flow path. Exhaust gases bypass the quieter internal route, releasing greater volume, a more immediate throttle sound, and a significantly stronger performance character. The remote controller allows the valves to be commanded fully open whenever desired, giving the driver direct access to the system’s most aggressive setting.

This dual-personality design is particularly well suited to the Cayenne. It preserves the comfort required from a premium SUV while allowing the vehicle to sound dramatically more emotional when the road and driving conditions permit.

Designed for SUV, Coupé, and E-Hybrid Applications

The system is available in vehicle-specific configurations for the standard Cayenne SUV body, the Cayenne Coupé, and compatible 3.0-liter E-Hybrid applications. Because the rear packaging, underbody routing, and hybrid components may differ between body styles and powertrains, the correct configuration must be selected when ordering.

On the E-Hybrid platform, the exhaust enhances the combustion engine’s character whenever the V6 is operating while preserving the vehicle’s ability to drive quietly in electric mode. Once the engine activates and the valves are opened, the system gives the hybrid Cayenne a much stronger and more authentic performance sound than the restrained factory arrangement.

This system is intended for compatible 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 applications. It should not be assumed to fit V8-powered Cayenne S, GTS, Turbo, Turbo GT, or Turbo E-Hybrid models unless a separate fitment is specifically confirmed.

Minimal-Joint Construction and Casted Connections

The exhaust is designed with as few unnecessary welded joints as practical. Each additional segmented weld can introduce a slight internal edge, dimensional variation, or potential long-term stress point. By using longer, carefully formed tubing sections, the system maintains a cleaner internal pathway and a more uniform exterior finish.

The bends are formed to preserve internal diameter through changes in direction, helping the exhaust maintain consistent flow rather than narrowing through the curves. Where separate sections are required for installation and serviceability, the connection locations are positioned intentionally rather than simply dividing the exhaust wherever manufacturing is easiest.

Precision casted flanges and connection components are used at critical interfaces. Cast construction allows the internal transition and exterior mounting geometry to be shaped together, providing smoother flow entry, accurate sealing surfaces, and repeatable fitment. These components also offer improved structural consistency in areas exposed to repeated heat cycles and installation load.

Every system is hand TIG-welded and assembled around vehicle-specific mounting locations. Brackets, hangers, connection points, and rear outlet positions are engineered to align with the Cayenne chassis without requiring cutting, welding, or permanent modification during a standard installation.

Stainless Steel or Titanium Construction

The system is available in both AISI 304 stainless steel and Ti-6Al-4V titanium, allowing owners to select the material that best suits their priorities.

The AISI 304 stainless-steel version is designed for strength, corrosion resistance, and dependable long-term use. It produces a substantial, composed sound with a deeper metallic body and is well suited for vehicles driven regularly in a wide range of weather and road conditions.

The Ti-6Al-4V titanium version is the flagship lightweight configuration. Titanium significantly reduces the mass of the exhaust system and produces a livelier, more immediate acoustic response. Its thinner, lightweight construction gives the exhaust a sharper and more exotic edge as RPM rises, while removing weight from the underside and rear section of the vehicle.

Regardless of material selection, each system receives the same attention to fitment, welding quality, internal flow, and structural support.

True Quad-Tip Conversion

The exhaust upgrades the Cayenne to a genuine quad-outlet layout rather than using decorative split covers attached to a concealed single outlet. Each side receives two functional exhaust tips, creating a more aggressive and balanced rear appearance that better reflects the performance character of the vehicle.

Available tip finishes include:

  • Black — a stealth-oriented finish that integrates cleanly with black exterior trim and dark rear diffusers.

  • Carbon Fiber — a lightweight, motorsport-inspired appearance with visible woven construction.

  • Silver — an understated metallic finish with a premium OEM-plus character.

  • Burnt Gold — a more exotic, heat-inspired finish designed to give the rear of the Cayenne a distinctive performance appearance.

The tip assemblies are adjustable during installation, allowing the installer to fine-tune extension, spacing, and alignment within the rear openings.

Features

3-Inch to Dual 2.75-Inch Y-Pipe Flow Architecture

The exhaust uses a full 3-inch front and midpipe section before transitioning through a carefully shaped Y-pipe into dual 2.75-inch rear paths. This layout provides strong flow capacity where the exhaust volume is concentrated while preserving appropriate gas velocity after the split. The result is a system that supports high-load breathing and tuned applications without making the low-speed exhaust character weak, hollow, or uncontrolled.

Remote-Controlled Dual-Mode Sound

The included remote active-valve system gives the driver direct control over the Cayenne’s sound at any time. Closed valves provide a more controlled route for cold starts, neighborhood driving, and highway use. Opening the valves activates the freer-flowing path, delivering greater volume, stronger throttle response, and a more aggressive turbo-V6 soundtrack without relying on factory drive-mode programming.

Casted Fitment Hardware with Minimal Welding

Critical flanges and transition components use cast construction for accurate geometry, smooth internal routing, and repeatable sealing. Longer formed pipe sections reduce the number of welded segments required throughout the system, creating a cleaner internal path, fewer potential stress points, and a more premium finished appearance. The complete exhaust is engineered as a direct bolt-on package extending forward to the downpipe connection.
