Corvette C8 Exhaust Valve Simulator for Aftermarket Exhausts
Complete your exhaust upgrade with the Yonristic Performance exhaust valve simulator for Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray and Z06 applications. Designed for applicable NPP and AFM exhaust-valve connections, this plug-and-play actuator eliminator connects to the factory wiring when an aftermarket exhaust removes the original valve actuators.
Enjoy your new exhaust setup without keeping unused factory valve motors connected solely for their electronics. The simulator emulates the electrical presence of the removed actuator to help prevent related missing-actuator fault codes and check-engine warnings.
Key Features
- Factory-connector installation: Plugs into the exhaust-valve actuator wiring connector, with no cutting, splicing, or OBD2 connection.
- NPP and AFM exhaust-valve applications: Match the modules to the original equipment and actuator connections being removed.
- Aftermarket exhaust compatibility: For compatible non-valved exhausts, muffler-delete systems, and independently remote-controlled exhausts that do not retain factory actuator operation.
- Package options: Available as a set of 2 or set of 4. Confirm how many actuator connections your installation requires before ordering.
Vehicle Fitment and Configuration
For applicable Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray and C8 Z06 exhaust-valve actuator connections. Compatibility depends on the model year, original exhaust equipment, connector type, and aftermarket exhaust configuration. Confirm fitment with Yonristic Performance before ordering if you are unsure which configuration you need.
AFM exhaust-valve simulation does not disable engine cylinder deactivation. The Z06 LT6 does not use the Stingray's cylinder-deactivation system; Z06 compatibility refers to its applicable exhaust-valve actuator connections.
Installation and Function
Connect each simulator to the appropriate factory exhaust-valve actuator wiring connector. Fully seat the connectors and secure the modules and wiring away from hot exhaust surfaces and moving components.
This product is an exhaust valve simulator, not a valve controller. On independently remote-controlled exhaust systems, the aftermarket controller operates the physical valves; the simulator addresses the disconnected factory actuator interface.
Important Limitations
Designed for supported exhaust-valve faults associated with actuator removal. It does not resolve catalyst-efficiency warnings, oxygen-sensor faults, misfires, damaged wiring, or unrelated engine problems, and it is not an engine tune or horsepower upgrade. Diagnose existing fault codes before installation and investigate any warnings that remain afterward.
