Ferrari 12Cilindri VANTA Edition Valved Performance Exhaust System
The Ferrari 12Cilindri is built around one of the most extraordinary engines still available today: a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 capable of revving to 9,500 rpm. While the factory exhaust provides the refinement expected from Ferrari’s flagship grand tourer, its architecture must also satisfy global noise, emissions, thermal, and comfort requirements. The Yonristic Performance VANTA Edition system is developed with a different priority: allowing the V12 to sound as clean, exotic, and emotional as possible while maintaining the level of fitment and engineering expected from the vehicle.
At the center of the system is an extended X-pipe designed to create a longer communication zone between the left and right cylinder banks. Instead of keeping both sides completely isolated or using only a short crossover, the extended X-pipe allows pressure waves from both banks to interact more progressively as RPM increases. At lower engine speeds, the exhaust maintains the deep mechanical presence of a large-displacement V12. Through the midrange, both sides begin blending into a smoother and more unified tone. As the engine approaches its upper range, the note becomes increasingly sharp, clean, and high-pitched rather than simply louder. The purpose of the system is not maximum volume alone, but a more refined frequency progression that allows the 12Cilindri’s naturally aspirated character to become increasingly dramatic toward redline.
The rear exhaust sections incorporate active valves and are engineered to work with either the original Ferrari valve actuators or the Yonristic remote valve control system using the same exhaust kit. Customers who prefer factory integration can transfer the OEM Ferrari actuators and retain the vehicle’s original valve logic. Customers looking for maximum control can use the Yonristic remote system, allowing the valves to be commanded directly rather than relying on the ECU to determine when they open. With the valves closed, the system maintains a more controlled grand-touring character. With the valves fully open, exhaust follows the freer-flowing route and allows the extended X-pipe to deliver the full V12 sound.
The system is also designed around the factory Ferrari tailpipe bracket architecture. Rather than replacing the exterior design with oversized universal aftermarket tips, the Yonristic exhaust integrates directly with Ferrari’s original visible outlet arrangement. This preserves the sophisticated OEM rear-end appearance while completely transforming the exhaust system behind it. From outside the vehicle, the 12Cilindri retains Ferrari’s original design language. Underneath, the exhaust architecture is entirely performance focused.
The complete cat-back system is treated with our gold ceramic thermal coating. This coating forms a thermal barrier directly on the exhaust surface, helping reduce radiant heat transferred toward surrounding components while retaining more thermal energy inside the exhaust stream. It also provides a lightweight alternative to adding bulky external shielding throughout the entire system and helps prevent the significant heat-related discoloration commonly seen on untreated stainless steel and titanium exhaust components.
For the highest-temperature sections, optional catalyst assemblies receive dedicated external heat shielding. These catalyst sections use a one-piece construction, minimizing unnecessary joints and creating a cleaner, more structurally consistent exhaust path from the front of the system.
Three catalyst configurations are available. The MaxFlow free-flow configuration provides the least restriction and the strongest overall sound, designed for maximum flow and track-focused applications. The 200-cell high-flow catalysts provide an aggressive catted option with significantly improved flow and a stronger V12 character compared with the factory catalyst system. The 400-cell high-flow catalysts are designed for owners seeking improved flow while maintaining greater refinement and a more controlled overall sound.
Changing the factory catalyst configuration may cause the vehicle’s catalyst-efficiency monitoring to operate outside its original parameters. Depending on the selected catalyst, vehicle software, and market specification, an OBD2 solution may be available. Please contact us for more information.
The VANTA Edition system is available in both AISI 304 stainless steel and Ti-6Al-4V titanium. Stainless steel provides excellent corrosion resistance, long-term durability, and a rich, substantial V12 tone. The titanium version significantly reduces overall system weight while creating a lighter and sharper acoustic resonance that works especially well with the high-RPM nature of the 12Cilindri. Both versions use the same extended X-pipe architecture, valve system, thermal treatment, and vehicle-specific fitment.
The complete system is engineered as a bolt-on performance package with precise mounting locations and factory-style connections. Professional installation by a Ferrari or exotic-vehicle specialist is strongly recommended.
This system is intended for off-road, track, competition, and closed-course use where applicable. MaxFlow and high-flow catalyst configurations may not comply with local emissions, noise, inspection, or road-use requirements. The purchaser and installer are responsible for confirming all applicable laws and regulations before installation or operation.
