Yonristic Performance designs and manufactures performance automotive components for a wide variety of vehicles and applications.
Certain Yonristic Performance products may be intended exclusively for closed-course competition, racing, motorsport, research, development, display, or other applications that are not lawful for use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles operated on public roads.
Other Yonristic Performance products may be designed for street vehicles without intentionally removing or disabling factory emissions-control equipment.
The legality of any product depends on the specific product, vehicle, configuration, installation, jurisdiction, and intended use.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws before purchasing, installing, or operating any Yonristic Performance product.
Competition / Racing Use Only Products
Any Yonristic Performance product specifically identified as:
“Competition Use Only,” “Racing Use Only,” “Race Use Only,” “Off-Road Use Only,” “For Closed-Course Competition Use Only,”
or with substantially similar language is intended only for the permitted non-street application described for that product.
Such products must not be installed, operated, or used on a motor vehicle in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
A “Competition / Racing Use Only” designation does not itself create an exemption from any federal, state, local, or international law.
The purchaser remains responsible for determining whether the vehicle and intended application legally qualify for the proposed use.
Emissions-Controlled Vehicles
Modern motor vehicles may contain federally or state-required emissions-control systems, including catalytic converters, particulate filters, exhaust sensors, evaporative-emissions systems, engine-management strategies, diagnostic systems, and other emissions-related equipment.
Yonristic Performance does not authorize or recommend the removal, bypass, disabling, tampering with, or rendering inoperative of required emissions-control equipment where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
Products that replace, relocate, modify, or otherwise affect emissions-related components may not be legal for use on public-road vehicles.
It is the purchaser’s and installer’s responsibility to determine whether a product is legal for the particular vehicle and application before installation or use.
Downpipes, Headers, Catalytic Converters & Emissions-Related Components
Certain Yonristic Performance products, including some downpipes, headers, test pipes, high-flow catalytic converter assemblies, catalyst-replacement components, and related performance parts, may alter or replace components associated with the original vehicle’s emissions-control system.
Unless a particular product has received an applicable emissions exemption, certification, approval, or has otherwise been specifically represented by Yonristic Performance as legal for the intended street application, the purchaser should not assume that such a product is legal for use on a pollution-controlled vehicle operated on public roads.
Products specifically marked for Competition / Racing Use Only are intended solely for lawful competition applications.
Purchasers should verify all applicable emissions requirements before ordering or installing these products.
Cat-Back, Axle-Back & Non-Emissions Components
Not every Yonristic Performance product is a Competition / Racing Use Only product.
Certain cat-back exhaust systems, axle-back exhaust systems, exhaust tips, cosmetic components, and other products may be designed to retain the vehicle’s original emissions-control equipment.
However, retaining factory emissions equipment does not guarantee that a product is legal for street use in every jurisdiction.
Noise limits, vehicle inspection requirements, exhaust configuration requirements, emissions regulations, registration requirements, and other laws vary by jurisdiction.
The purchaser is responsible for determining whether the product and vehicle configuration comply with all laws applicable where the vehicle will be registered, inspected, operated, or used.
California Customers
California maintains specific regulations concerning aftermarket performance parts and emissions-controlled motor vehicles.
A product that modifies an emissions-related component may require an applicable California Air Resources Board exemption, certification, or other authorization before it can lawfully be installed or used on certain pollution-controlled vehicles.
A product labeled for Competition / Racing Use Only should not be assumed to be legal for use on a California-registered or street-operated vehicle.
Where a product is intended exclusively for a qualifying racing vehicle, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring that both the vehicle and its use satisfy all applicable California requirements.
Yonristic Performance does not represent that a Competition / Racing Use Only product is legal for use on California public roads merely because the product is advertised or sold as a racing or off-road component.
Closed-Course Competition Use
Where a product is designated for Competition / Racing Use Only, the intended application is genuine closed-course competition or another legally permitted racing application.
Examples may include organized motorsport events, sanctioned racing, track competition, or other lawful competition environments.
Driving a modified vehicle on a public street, highway, or other public-use roadway simply to travel to or from a racing event does not automatically make the use a competition use.
The purchaser is responsible for transportation and operation of a competition vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws.
“Off-Road” Does Not Mean Public Road Use
The term “off-road” should not be interpreted as permission to operate a vehicle anywhere outside a paved public street.
Depending on the jurisdiction, public lands, public dirt roads, off-highway recreation areas, trails, parks, and similar locations may still be subject to emissions, vehicle, registration, or equipment regulations.
Products identified as Competition / Racing Use Only should be used only where their installation and operation are legally permitted.
No Emissions Defeat Authorization
Yonristic Performance does not authorize any customer, dealer, installer, distributor, employee, contractor, or other party to use a Yonristic Performance product to unlawfully bypass, defeat, disable, or render inoperative required emissions-control equipment.
Yonristic Performance product descriptions, technical information, customer support, installation information, photographs, videos, advertisements, and social-media content should not be interpreted as instructions or authorization to violate emissions or vehicle laws.
The purchaser and installer are independently responsible for lawful installation and use.
Check Engine Lights & Diagnostic Systems
Modification of exhaust or emissions-related components may affect oxygen-sensor readings, onboard diagnostics, emissions readiness monitors, engine-management behavior, or warning lights.
Yonristic Performance does not guarantee that installation of a Competition / Racing Use Only product will prevent a check-engine light, diagnostic code, emissions-readiness issue, inspection failure, or other vehicle response.
Customers should not disable or circumvent required emissions diagnostic functions where doing so would violate applicable law.
Tuning & Software
Some modified vehicles may require calibration or tuning for proper competition operation.
Yonristic Performance does not represent that engine-management software, tuning, coding, sensor modification, diagnostic suppression, or other calibration changes are lawful for public-road use.
The legality and suitability of any tuning or software modification is the responsibility of the customer, tuner, and installer.
Yonristic Performance does not authorize the use of software or tuning to unlawfully disable or conceal the operation of required emissions-control or diagnostic systems.
Installation Responsibility
Professional installation by a qualified automotive performance technician is strongly recommended.
Before installation, the customer and installer are responsible for confirming:
The correct vehicle application and fitment;
Whether the product affects emissions-control equipment;
Whether the vehicle is intended for street or competition use;
Whether the product is approved for the intended application;
Whether additional vehicle modifications are required; and
Whether installation and operation comply with applicable laws and regulations.
If there is uncertainty regarding product fitment or intended application, installation should be stopped until the issue has been reviewed.

Purchaser Responsibility
By purchasing a product identified as Competition / Racing Use Only, the purchaser acknowledges that:
The product may not be legal for use on public-road vehicles;
The purchaser is responsible for determining the legality of the product for the specific vehicle and intended use;
The purchaser will not install or use the product in a manner prohibited by applicable law;
The purchaser is responsible for complying with applicable emissions, noise, vehicle equipment, registration, inspection, and motorsport regulations; and
Yonristic Performance has not represented that a Competition / Racing Use Only designation makes an otherwise prohibited application lawful.
The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that anyone who subsequently installs, operates, receives, or uses the product is informed of any applicable Competition / Racing Use Only restrictions.
Dealer, Distributor & Installer Responsibility
Authorized retailers, distributors, installers, workshops, and other commercial purchasers of Yonristic Performance products are responsible for accurately communicating any product-specific Competition / Racing Use Only designation to their customers.
Dealers and installers must not represent a Competition / Racing Use Only product as street legal unless there is a lawful basis for that representation.
Resellers should preserve applicable warnings, product notices, labels, and disclaimers when advertising or supplying Yonristic Performance products.
Vehicle Inspection & Registration
Yonristic Performance does not guarantee that a modified vehicle will pass:
State emissions inspections;
Smog inspections;
Safety inspections;
Noise inspections;
Roadworthiness inspections;
Onboard diagnostic inspections;
Vehicle registration requirements; or
Any other government or regulatory inspection.
Passing an inspection does not necessarily establish that a modification is lawful, and failure to pass an inspection is not by itself evidence of a product defect.
Customers are responsible for verifying compliance before installation.
Noise Regulations
Performance exhaust systems may increase or otherwise change the sound produced by a vehicle.
Federal, state, municipal, track, motorsport, and other authorities may impose restrictions on exhaust noise or vehicle sound levels.
Yonristic Performance does not guarantee that a particular exhaust configuration will comply with every applicable sound or noise requirement.
Sound levels may vary significantly based on the vehicle, catalytic converters, headers, downpipes, tune, engine modifications, exhaust configuration, measuring method, environment, and operating conditions.
The purchaser is responsible for complying with applicable noise regulations.
Motorsports & Racing Risk
Motorsports, racing, track driving, and high-performance vehicle operation involve inherent risks to persons and property.
Use of performance automotive components may subject the vehicle and its components to greater temperatures, forces, vibration, stress, and wear than normal street operation.
Yonristic Performance is not responsible for accidents, vehicle damage, personal injury, property damage, competition penalties, track restrictions, or other losses resulting solely from participation in motorsport or improper vehicle operation, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
No Guarantee of Street Legality
The availability of a product for purchase through Yonristic Performance’s website, an authorized retailer, distributor, dealer, marketplace, social-media platform, or other sales channel does not constitute a representation that the product is street legal for every vehicle or jurisdiction.
Likewise, product shipment to a particular state, country, or location does not constitute confirmation that installation or use is lawful at that destination.
Customers must determine legality based on the product, vehicle, location, and intended use.
Product Images, Videos & Demonstrations
Yonristic Performance may photograph, film, test, display, or demonstrate vehicles equipped with performance components in controlled, private, competition, track, development, testing, or other lawful environments.
Images, videos, sound clips, social-media posts, promotional materials, or demonstrations showing a product installed on a vehicle should not be interpreted as confirmation that the same configuration is lawful for public-road use in every jurisdiction.
International Customers
Vehicle and emissions regulations differ significantly between countries and jurisdictions.
International customers are solely responsible for determining whether a product may lawfully be imported, installed, registered, inspected, or operated in their jurisdiction.
The purchaser is also responsible for applicable customs requirements, homologation requirements, vehicle inspections, emissions standards, noise restrictions, and other local requirements.
Yonristic Performance does not guarantee regulatory approval outside the United States unless expressly stated for a particular product.
Warranty & Returns
A customer’s inability to legally operate a Competition / Racing Use Only product on public roads does not constitute a manufacturing defect.
Ordering a product without first confirming local legality does not automatically create eligibility for a return, cancellation, exchange, or refund.
All returns, cancellations, and warranty claims remain subject to the Yonristic Performance Limited Warranty & Return Policy.
Installation of a product may affect return eligibility as described in that policy.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Regulatory Changes
Automotive emissions, vehicle equipment, motorsport, and aftermarket regulations may change over time.
Yonristic Performance may revise product classifications, disclosures, availability, or sales requirements to reflect changes in law, regulations, certification status, enforcement guidance, or product design.
Customers are responsible for confirming current requirements applicable to their vehicle and jurisdiction at the time of installation and use.
Compliance Takes Priority
Nothing contained on the Yonristic Performance website, product listing, advertisement, invoice, packaging, installation guide, email, text message, social-media post, or other communication should be interpreted as authorizing conduct prohibited by applicable law.
Where a product description, customer request, or other communication conflicts with applicable law, applicable law controls.
Yonristic Performance reserves the right to refuse, cancel, restrict, or otherwise decline a transaction or request when reasonably necessary for legal or regulatory compliance.
