The Corvette C8 Z06 starts with an extraordinary foundation: a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter LT6, a flat-plane crankshaft, and an 8,600-RPM redline.
VANTA GOLD is developed to make that engine’s sound a defining part of the experience. The system combines a distinctive central flow core with carefully routed rear pipework and targeted acoustic tuning, pursuing an intense exhaust note that builds in pitch and presence as engine speed rises.
Its construction reflects that purpose. The sculpted gold centerpiece, broad return bends, and tightly grouped quad outlets give the assembly a recognizable identity before the engine even starts.
F1-Inspired Race Architecture. The VANTA GOLD race layout emphasizes the characteristics that make the LT6 special: its mechanical presence, rapid rise through the rev range, and sharp upper-RPM voice.
The sound develops from a pronounced V8 presence into an increasingly urgent, high-pitched scream under acceleration. It is an exhaust character developed for owners who want the Z06’s racing personality to be central to their track experience.
The rear assembly uses a compact arrangement of shaped tubing, with broad return bends extending across both sides before the routing comes together at the four center outlets.
Signature AURUM FLOW CORE™. Positioned at the center of the system, the proprietary AURUM FLOW CORE™ establishes the VANTA GOLD approach to the Z06’s sound.
Its internal geometry shapes the interaction between the exhaust streams, working with the surrounding pipework to develop a connected progression of tone as RPM rises.
The core’s sculpted exterior and signature gold finish also create the visual centerpiece of the assembly. Clamped connections around the module integrate it into the surrounding rear sections, making its role clear within the overall architecture.
Helmholtz Acoustic Piping. Integrated Helmholtz piping adds targeted resonance control to the race layout.
This acoustic approach uses resonance to attenuate selected unwanted frequencies, addressing sound that could otherwise dominate the exhaust note. Working alongside the AURUM FLOW CORE™, the Helmholtz section contributes to the system’s balance of intensity and tonal clarity.
The objective is a focused exhaust voice that preserves the LT6’s expressive upper range while managing selected resonant frequencies within the sound.
Braided Inlet Flex Sections. Both inlet pipes incorporate braided flex joints between the flanged connections and the rear assembly.
These flexible sections provide compliance within the exhaust, helping accommodate relative movement between connected components and manage mechanical loading at the joints.
Paired inlet flanges, welded hangers, and support brackets complete the vehicle-specific construction.
Included Rear Valve Simulator. Every system includes a valve simulator compatible with the factory rear exhaust-valve harness.
Developed for the race configuration, the simulator is designed to prevent the associated actuator-removal faults when the original rear exhaust valve actuators are removed.
Its function applies specifically to the supported rear valve-actuator interface. Catalyst-efficiency monitoring remains separate and depends on the selected catalyst configuration and vehicle calibration.
Z06 Quad Center-Exit Design. Four closely grouped center outlets preserve one of the Z06’s most recognizable design features.
The rear pipework returns toward this central arrangement, connecting the wide exhaust assembly with a compact, purposeful presentation at the rear fascia. The system is developed around the Z06’s outlet positioning for a cohesive finished installation.
Optional Black Ceramic-Coated Tips. Optional black ceramic-coated exhaust tips give the quad outlets a darker, more understated finish.
The heat-resistant ceramic treatment and Yonristic branding complete the presentation, carrying the system’s race character through to its most visible detail.
Optional Free-Flow or 200-Cell Catalyst Configurations. Matching front-section options extend the package beyond the cat-back.
The free-flow configuration prioritizes an open exhaust path and a more intense sound.
The 200-cell high-flow catalyst configuration provides a catted alternative, retaining catalyst substrates while offering a stronger exhaust presence.
These options allow owners to configure the complete system according to their preferred sound and intended track application.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. Developed specifically for the Corvette C8 Z06, the system combines three-bolt inlet flanges, vehicle-specific hangers, and sectional clamped connections.
This construction supports installation and alignment around the Z06’s chassis and quad center-exit arrangement, providing direct bolt-on fitment without custom exhaust fabrication.
